Two Mobile Apps to Find Locations in Cambodia

Cambodia with a growing of economics by each year, technologies also rise faster now among all people through mobile phone and Internet.

Many business, individual starts love to have their own business mobile app as well. That’s why there are many growing companies here.

Here, I found two interesting apps to introduce about finding location in Cambodia for daily use and for tourism.

5mn M-tourism

The application is a unique one focusing on tourism on Cambodia. The application is developed by Nokor GROUP, an IT company.

This mobile app is native app, created to help a tourist visiting in Cambodia to find quickly the information from his Smartphone:

• Activities, Events & Transport in Cambodia
• Interactive Maps
• Healthcare Information.
• Location Based Services
• Restaurants
• Direct from here map (Road suggestion with the nearest on the map)
• Smart place suggestion with user profile
• Cost saving – Online/Offline data display (Every data will be updated from server one time only and store in the local device)

This app has categorized each location in different categories and user can quickly response to each location by direct call or review each location by comment.

Find Khmer

Find Khmer is a Cambodian local search engine based on location awareness. The app uses a database from FindKH.

Features:

• Online search by categories, locations
• Search the nearest points of interest
• Phone call, Send email and view Map (phone call available on iPhone only)
• Option to choose the distant for “Near Me” function

This app is categorized by different location and type of services which you can browse it by My Category, My Location, Near Me in Android (I haven’t checked for Apple yet).
