You are in comfortable position of having way more followers than accounts you are following. It can be a little discouraging, especially when you’re a new-ish blogger and you know exactly how many followers you have at a time. The point of this story is to remind you that when someone unfollows you — because inevitably they will — to not take it personally or feel badly about it. Last year I did a bit of a tidy up on my social media channels and unfollowed a number of people that I had followed when I first started blogging (when you read all those great articles saying that you must follow each other to build up your numbers but you don’t actually converse with them at all!).
