I wait since it was announced in December about Samsung official upgrade to Android 2.3.6, GingerBread, now I already did it. No issue for me, it’s working just fine with better performance and screen:

Improvement with 2.3.6

• Enhance boots up speed of the phone.
• Increases the phone’s HSPA connection speed.
• Changes the camera Interface.
• Enhanced the phone’s security and boosts the phone’s performance.
